HR Associate

We are looking for someone to contribute to the delivery of a HR service which adds value through continuous improvement, and to assist in the delivery of the Trust’s objectives by undertaking project work. We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who will be willing to work hard, to develop themselves and to make a strong contribution at this stage in the Trusts growth.

Site Supervisor
The Bay Learning Trust is seeking to appoint a practical, friendly, dynamic person to join our school premises team at Central Lancaster High School. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth running of the school by carrying out a range of caretaking duties to the agreed quality standards, including security and supervision of the site and related equipment, other caretaking duties including porterage, cleaning and maintenance.
The emphasis of this post will focus on site supervision, handyperson activities, lettings co-ordination and driving of the school minibus as required. Full training will be provided.
Grade & Range: Grade 4 (NPS 4-6)
FTE Salary Range: £18,933 – £19,698
Weekly Hours: 37 hours per week (shift pattern to include weekends)
Paid Weeks per Year: Full Time

Catering Manager
The Bay Learning Trust is seeking to appoint a friendly, experienced and dynamic Catering Manager to lead a small catering team at Central Lancaster High School. The successful candidate will ideally be trained to Level 3 food safety or NVQ equivalent and be a professional, committed to ensuring the production of high-quality, compliant food service to pupils and staff.
You will have experience of working in a kitchen environment with responsibility for planning a balanced, nutritious menu, organising theme days, stock and budget management, line management of the kitchen staff whilst ensuring full compliance of food standards and food hygiene regulations.
A recruitment and retention allowance is available for an exceptional candidate.

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade 6 (Points 11-19) £22,129 – £25,927
Actual Salary Range: £19,118 – £22,400
Weekly Hours: 37 hours per week Mon – Fri 7.15am – 3.15pm

Teacher of Girls’ PE (maternity cover)
We are looking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Teacher of Girls’ PE from November 2022 to cover a maternity leave and to teach a wide range of activities across the curriculum, including GCSE and/or A Level if needed.
This is a part time position (3 days per week), or there is the option for a full time role which would be a combination of PE and cover.

Catering Assistants
We require two catering assistants to start as soon as possible.
The first position is permanent and is for 16.25 hours per week (term time plus 4 days).
The second position is temporary, to cover a maternity leave until July 2023, and is for 20 hours per week (term time plus 4 days).
The hourly rate for both positions will be in the range £9.5030 to £9.5979

We require a First Aider, to start as soon as possible. The postholder will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with pupils to support their medical and social needs. The role requires liaison with all staff but specifically pastoral colleagues and the safeguarding team.
