Catering Manager

We are a small and friendly secondary school at the heart of our community. Our core values are Commitment, Creativity and Community. Our school is seeking a dynamic Catering Manager with experience of leading a team to maintain the high quality output of meals in our kitchen to ensure our young people enjoy our food experience.

Salary: NJC Grade 6 (Points 11-19) £22,129 – £25,927 FTE – Actual Salary Range: £19,118 – £22,400

The Bay Learning Trust is seeking to appoint a friendly, experienced and dynamic Catering Manager to lead a small catering team at Central Lancaster High School. The successful candidate will ideally be trained to Level 3 food safety or NVQ equivalent and be a professional, committed to ensuring the production of high-quality, compliant food service to pupils and staff.

You will have experience of working in a kitchen environment with responsibility for planning a balanced, nutritious menu, organising theme days, stock and budget management, line management of the kitchen staff whilst ensuring full compliance of food standards and food hygiene regulations. A recruitment allowance is available for an exceptional candidate.

Farm, Garden and Animal Care Assistant 

The role is to support the Academy’s Agriculture, Horticulture and Animal Care department. This will involve animal husbandry with large and small animals to high standards of animal welfare, and maintaining the farm, garden area and the livestock grazing areas.

Annual Salary in the range £21,189 to £21,968

Required as soon as possible.

Catering Assistant

Teacher of English

Morecambe Bay Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible Cover Manager/administrator to co-ordinate and allocate daily cover arrangements for planned and unplanned staff absence. Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Morecambe Bay Academy are seeking to appoint a HLTA to join our Learning Support Team.

The successful candidate will plan and implement interventions for individuals and groups under the general supervision and direction of the SENDCo. They will establish supportive and constructive relationships with pupils and staff.

Grade: NJC APT&C Grade 7 (Points 19 – 25)                                                                                                 Salary: £19,008 – £21,853 (FTE Annual Salary £27,852 – £32,020)
30 hours per week to be worked 8.30am to 3.15pm (inclusive of unpaid breaks totalling 45 mins per day) Monday to Friday
