Principal

Due to the retirement of the current Principal, the Bay Learning Trust is seeking to appoint to the post of Principal at Morecambe Bay Academy. You will be a dynamic and self-motivated professional with a proven track record of leadership within education.

The Principal is the leading professional in the academy. Accountable to the Local Governing Body and the Trust Board, the Principal provides vision, leadership and direction for the academy and ensures that it is managed and organised to meet its aims and targets.

The Principal, working with others, is responsible for the academy's performance and to identify the priorities for continuous improvement and raising standards.

This will include ensuring equality of opportunity for all; developing policies and practices, ensuring that resources are efficiently and effectively used to achieve the academy's aims and objectives and for the day-to­day management, organisation and administration of the academy.

The closing date is midday on Friday 4th February 2022

Director of Finance and Operations

Due to the retirement of the current postholder, the Bay Learning Trust is seeking to appoint to the post of Director of Finance and Operations at Morecambe Bay Academy. You will be a dynamic and self-motivated professional with a successful track record.

The successful candidate will play a key role in raising standards through leadership of the support function of the academy, specifically through oversight of the Finance, Premises and Facilities and HR functions, and to play a significant role as a senior leader as a member of SLT. The Director of Finance and Operations is accountable to the Local Governing Body and the Trust.

Your work will ensure equality of opportunity for all; developing policies and practices, ensuring that resources are efficiently and effectively used to achieve the academy's aims and objectives and for the day-to­day management, organisation and administration of the academy.

Salary L8 - L12 (£50,151- £55,338)
