Ripley 6th Form Centre as RLI Training Centre

Ripley St Thomas Sixth Form Centre

The Ripley St Thomas Sixth Form Centre has been taken over by the Royal Lancaster Infirmary and is being used for training medical staff in fitting protective masks.  The Trust and Ripley Academy are delighted to be of service to the NHS at this difficult and unprecedented time. Ripley's close proximity to the hospital makes this an ideal solution for them.  It is ironic that when Ripley was built it was actually called “The Ripley Hospital”.   It seems that the school has come full circle!
