Carnforth High School Fundraising

Carnforth High School pupils have been fundraising at the start of this New Year but in different ways!!  Pupils are being encouraged to bring in spare books (both fiction and non-fiction and suitable for student ages 11-18) that are no longer needed (with parental permission, of course!!) to donate to the school’s library.  A great way to have a clear out after all those Christmas presents and to donate to a very worthy cause at the same time.  Pupils will be awarded 5 E-Praise points for each book donated.

Two Year 9 pupils have also been fundraising.  They have completed a charity fundraising event to help raise funds for the homeless and foodbank in Lancaster. They made 80 cakes and sold them in their local neighbourhood to raise the money. They raised £100 and they used this to buy vital items, which they delivered, to the homeless and foodbank. A fantastic achievement and a real exemplification of what is expected of Carnforth High students.
