Ripley ITT’s Graduation Dinner

Ripley ITT graduates celebrated their successful year of training and their recommendation for QTS at a graduation dinner. The occasion was held at The Midland Hotel, Morecambe where the graduates enjoyed the wonderful view, glorious evening sunshine and fine food.

SCITT Director, Felicity Ackroyd said, “This is such an important event, all the trainees have faced some challenge this year however, they are resilient and now looking forward to visiting their employing schools this week.”

After dinner speeches were provided by two partnership headteachers. Brian Jones from St Mary’s  Primary School. Kirkby Lonsdale and Tim Iddon, headteacher of Carnforth High School gave the early career teachers some excellent advice to take forward to their new roles.
